We were recently keeping our fingers crossed for Olya, for whom the Foundation paid for a complex surgical procedure!
Olya was born healthy at 38 weeks’ gestation, but on the second day of her life she suffered a brain haemorrhage. The little girl spent a month in intensive care, two weeks of which she was on a ventilator. Unfortunately, this had a significant impact on her subsequent development.
At present, Olya cannot speak, stand or walk, and has been taking anti-seizure medication continuously since birth. Doctors diagnosed spastic dislocation of the right hip and subluxation of the left, which required surgical intervention.
🚨Thanks to the support of the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation, the following operations were performed: corrective osteotomy of the right femur and a right De Gaar pelvic osteotomy. This is a complex but necessary procedure to improve the child’s condition.
We are delighted to report that the operation was a success!
Olya now faces a long journey of recovery, rehabilitation and new achievements.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who supports the Foundation’s work. It is thanks to you that children are given a chance for a better future.
Bonum continues to focus all its efforts on treating children and asks for your financial and informational support — together we can achieve more!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
