A second round of support for Ivan’s heart!

Ivan was born in October 2023 with a severe combined heart defect. From the very first moments of his life, he has been bravely fighting for every breath, undergoing a difficult course of treatment and constant medical examinations. He needs heart surgery, but for the time being the doctors are reluctant to proceed based on his test results. When the boy’s condition worsened, he was prescribed an expensive, life-saving medicine that helps improve the function of the pulmonary vessels, increase oxygen saturation levels and support the heart and brain.

The ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation has now come to Ivan’s aid for the second time by purchasing the necessary medication.

For the family, this is not just support; it is a chance to continue fighting for their son’s health and bring him closer to the next stage of treatment – surgery.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helps give children hope and the chance to live, and we would like to share the words of gratitude from the mother of the child we are supporting:
