A step towards a solution: The charity has helped Sashko undergo a vital genetic test!

The ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation covered the costs of Sashko’s genetic test, which will help doctors identify the cause of his complex developmental disorders and draw up an appropriate rehabilitation and treatment plan for him.

From birth, Sasha has had limited mobility; he only sat up at one year old and did not make any sounds until he was four. He now has neurological problems, a psychological development disorder with speech impairment, and requires constant monitoring by several specialists.

Specialists suspect a rare genetic condition, but this can only be confirmed or ruled out through specialised testing. This is precisely why genetic analysis is so important.

Despite all the difficulties, Sasha is a very bright, inquisitive and hard-working boy who genuinely delights in new achievements and discoveries.
