Dreams come true: the Bonum Foundation has funded a vital course of rehabilitation!

Every parent’s dream is to see their child develop and learn new skills. For Eva’s family, this dream has come a little closer to reality thanks to a rehabilitation programme funded by #Bonum.

Eva has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy (spastic tetraparesis), compensated hydrocephalus, clubfoot and astigmatism. She has a subgroup A disability and requires ongoing therapy to develop her motor skills.
The intensive rehabilitation programme at the Kozyavkin Clinic has yielded good results. Eva has started to maintain her balance better, move more confidently with support, has learnt to roll from side to side, and is taking her first steps towards greater independence; she is now even trying to undress by herself.

For the family, these changes are incredibly valuable. Due to the high cost of rehabilitation, her parents were not always able to provide their daughter with comprehensive courses, so the assistance from the ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation has been a real source of support on this journey.
