The devastating strikes on Ukraine have left over 9 million people feeling cold, scared, and without electricity. As time passes, the damage to cities worsens, and the issue of power outages persists without any resolution in sight. To address this urgent need, the charitable foundation "Bonum" is organizing a humanitarian aid shipment that includes basic necessities for both adults and children in the worst affected areas of Ukraine.
The process for the aid shipment will begin in January 2023, with the Velmart and Greenhills Market retail chains installing donation boxes with a description of the project's objectives. Customers of these retail chains who wish to contribute to the cause can donate any amount they desire. Once the charitable collection is completed, the funds raised will be used to purchase essential items such as matches, candles, flashlights, ready-to-eat food, and hygiene products.
These items will then be transported to Velmart in Ukraine, where they will be distributed among aid centers to ensure that they reach those in need. Local employees at Velmart will be responsible for managing the distribution of goods to aid centers.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
