Zlata is a little girl with tremendous willpower and an incredible desire to live a full life. From her very first months, she has had to fight for things that come naturally to most children: movement, development, and taking her first steps. Due to a difficult birth and hypoxic-ischaemic damage to her nervous system, her childhood has been filled with constant rehabilitation.
The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation has funded another course of rehabilitation for Zlata — and today we are delighted to share the inspiring results!
During the course, Zlata has shown positive progress:
her muscle tone has significantly decreased, her hands have become more open, and she confidently grasps objects;
new sounds and words have emerged during sessions with the speech therapist;
her chewing and swallowing skills have improved. Zlata has become more aware and active, and is making her first attempts at crawling.
These small but vital victories are the result of daily perseverance, her parents’ faith in their daughter, and our timely support!
We are truly delighted with Zlata’s progress and believe that once her rehabilitation is complete, her achievements will only multiply. “You can see how the child is changing — she is becoming stronger, more active, and more confident in her movements and actions,” says Zlata’s mum.
The Foundation directs all its resources towards the treatment and rehabilitation of children, and towards preserving their health! That is precisely why your financial and informational support is so important to us — because together
we can help even more children take their first steps towards a healthy and happy life!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
