The ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation has paid for an expensive laboratory test for little Maksym, which will help doctors determine the cause of his seizures and select the most effective treatment.
From the very first moments of his life, Maxim has been fighting for his health. As a result of severe hypoxic-ischaemic damage to his central nervous system, the boy underwent resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, a coma and prolonged treatment. He was later also diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Despite daily efforts and ongoing rehabilitation programmes, at the age of two the little boy has not yet acquired the skills to hold a toy, sit up, crawl or stand on his own.
However, his parents have not lost hope and continue to seek ways to help their son. They are working hard and searching for an effective treatment.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supports the work of #Bonum. It is thanks to your compassion that children like Maksym get the chance to receive proper diagnosis, treatment and new opportunities for development.
Let’s help with love, together!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
