Olya’s overnight EEG: thank you for supporting the children with your donation!

The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation has funded an overnight EEG for Olya — a vital test for monitoring seizure activity and adjusting her medication.

Olya has a complex diagnosis: sulphur-containing amino acid metabolism disorder, hyperhomocysteinemia, secondary mitochondrial dysfunction, cryptogenic epilepsy and other associated conditions. This is why regular monitoring via EEG is critically important for her condition and development.
Despite all her health challenges, Olya is a very bright and sincere child. She adores music, songs, and train journeys; she loves people and hugs, and is always in a good mood. She attends a special school, works hard in class, and gets on well with her classmates and teacher.

The Foundation’s mission is to save lives and support children on their journey to health and a fulfilling childhood. That is why we helped with the examination, because this is not just a diagnosis; it is a chance to adjust treatment in time and improve the child’s quality of life.
