"One step closer to independent steps!"That's what Varvara's mother told us after completing a rehabilitation course from the Bonum Ukraine Foundation.

Varvara was born at 31 weeks of pregnancy. At birth, she received hypoxic-ischemic damage to the CNS, had respiratory disorders and frequent apneas, all this did not lead to a difficult diagnosis of cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia level 4 according to the GMFCS, delayed psycho-speech development. A child needs constant support from specialists to develop, so the Foundation paid for a rehabilitation course for Varvara.

The classes encouraged the child to progress: she began to hold her body more confidently while sitting, to stand at a support for more time, to walk in a walker, although still with the support of an adult, and we believe in this incredible girl.

Always smiling, sincere, persistent, Varvara loves company, she likes music, playing with various Montessori sorters and loves spending time on playgrounds. She is a little girl who is happy about everything, and we are happy about her successes and thank the people who helped Varvara get one step closer to independent steps!
