When you’ve been through war, a forced relocation and a constant struggle for your child’s health, even a single timely act of kindness makes a world of difference. The family of little Alexandra was forced to leave their hometown of Kherson because of the war and start a new life in Ternopil.

When you’ve been through war, a forced relocation and a constant struggle for your child’s health, even a single timely act of kindness makes a world of difference.
The family of little Alexandra was forced to leave their hometown of Kherson because of the war and start a new life in Ternopil.
Today, the family is raising their daughter, who has a disability, as well as looking after two orphaned children who lost their parents as a result of Russia’s armed aggression
Since birth, Oleksandra has lived with a rare condition — bladder exstrophy. She has already undergone a complex operation at Okhmatdyt, but another extremely important procedure lies ahead involving the administration of Vantris helium, which #Bonum has purchased! This procedure is necessary to increase the volume of the bladder and return it to its anatomically correct position, eliminate bilateral reflux and reduce the risk of recurrent pyelonephritis, which can lead to severe kidney damage.
We are delighted to announce that the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation has helped the family by covering the cost of the helium required for their daughter’s surgery. This is not merely financial support; it is an opportunity to ensure her treatment continues uninterrupted and a vital step towards her next operation. It is Oleksandra’s chance for a healthier and more comfortable future.
Thank you to our supermarket partners for their cooperation and to their customers for their donations! Thank you to every donor for the 10 hryvnias of kindness at the self-service checkouts in the “Velmart”, “Velyka Kyshenya” and “VK Express” supermarkets! It is thanks to your generosity that children who are fighting for their health every day are receiving the help and support they need!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
