The support that brought Tykhomir peace of mind and new achievements!

Thanks to the support of caring people, the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation purchased a special weighted blanket for Tykhomir and paid for his rehabilitation programme!

For Tykhomir, who lives with autism spectrum disorder and other health conditions, this is not just help – it is a new opportunity for development.
A weighted blanket applies gentle, even pressure to the body, which helps to calm the nervous system and improve the child’s sleep, reduces anxiety and can contribute to better concentration and emotional balance.

Bonum also funded a course of rehabilitation, which brought about positive changes: working with a specialist improved blood circulation in the cervical region, thanks to which Tykhomir now sleeps more peacefully, no longer wakes up at night and does not cry. Oxygen therapy has improved his well-being, and the dark circles under his eyes have disappeared.
We are particularly delighted with the progress in his speech. After sessions with a speech therapist, Tykhomyr began to understand spoken language better and respond for himself: ‘I’m riding’, ‘I’m playing’. Thanks to neurocorrection, he also has a better sense of his body and is gradually developing his fine motor skills.
