Together for progress: rehabilitation for Kirill!

The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation paid for a course of rehabilitation for Kirill, a boy who has been fighting for his development and health since his early years.
Kirill is 7 years old. He has been diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy with severe developmental delays. The boy still has difficulty holding his head up, cannot sit independently without support, and cannot walk at all. In addition to his primary diagnosis, Kirill also has symptomatic epilepsy and grade 5 neurosensory hearing loss.

We are glad that after completing the course paid for by the Foundation, specialists have noted positive dynamics. Kirill's muscle tone in his limbs has decreased, and the range of passive and active movements in the joints of his arms and legs has increased. His head control has improved noticeably, he has become better at turning on his side, and his sleep has normalised. Kirill has become calmer and more balanced.
He follows objects better and concentrates on tasks. Despite the fact that Kirill has almost complete hearing loss, he is gradually beginning to understand the principles of tasks — for example, he can match shapes: triangle to triangle, circle to circle, and other shapes.

These results are further proof of how important regular rehabilitation is for children with such diagnoses.
