Together, we gave Kirill more than just treatment!

Sometimes a single operation can change a whole life.
Kirill has cerebral palsy. Due to constant muscle spasms, he developed a severe foot deformity, which prevented him from standing and walking normally and caused him pain. Without surgery, the deformity would only have worsened, and every step would have become increasingly difficult.

Thanks to the support of donors, the ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation paid for Kirill’s operation. The doctors successfully addressed the effects of the condition, corrected the position of his foot and lengthened his Achilles tendon. This gives Kirill the chance to learn to place his foot correctly, walk with greater confidence and avoid further deterioration of his condition.

A challenging road to recovery lies ahead for the boy: a plaster cast, rehabilitation, physiotherapy and a lot of daily hard work. But the most precious gift we have been able to give this child is a life free from pain.
