Varvara's steps begin with our support!

We are delighted that, thanks to us, Varvara underwent surgery in time and will have a chance to walk independently and painlessly!

Varvara was born prematurely, at 29 weeks of pregnancy, and began her struggle from the first minutes of life. Later, doctors diagnosed her with cerebral palsy, spastic form (tetraparesis). Due to damage to her nervous system, the girl began to develop serious problems with her legs — neuro-muscular dysplasia of the hip joints, contractures, and the threat of subluxation.
Despite the difficult path of treatment and constant rehabilitation, Varvara is growing up to be a very bright, intelligent, and diligent girl. She has already learned to sit, stand with support, take her first steps with assistance, loves speech therapy sessions, and always sincerely enjoys praise. Varya is inquisitive, attentive, asks a lot of questions, and sincerely believes that she will be able to walk on her own.
To preserve this opportunity, complex surgery on both hip joints is necessary.

The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation paid for the operation on her left leg and the essential implants (special plates, bone graft and Botulinum toxin A) for Varya.
The child now faces recovery and a new stage in her struggle. We sincerely wish her a speedy recovery, strength, patience and, most importantly, not to lose faith in herself!
