Ivan was born in October 2023 with a severe congenital heart defect — complete atrioventricular communication of an unbalanced form and high pulmonary hypertension. Due to the complexity of the diagnosis, the operation has been postponed for now, and the boy's condition is being maintained with medication.
Currently, Ivan's oxygen saturation is dropping to dangerous levels, so doctors at the St. Nicholas Clinic in Lviv have prescribed a vital medication that helps dilate the pulmonary vessels, increase blood oxygen levels, and reduce the load on the heart and brain.
The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation has purchased expensive medication for Ivan, without which it would be impossible to stabilise his condition.
In the words of Ivan's mother:
‘Thank you for not leaving us alone with our misfortune. When you see your child struggling to breathe, your heart breaks. Thanks to you, we now have hope. May the good you do come back to you a hundredfold.’
We thank everyone who helped raise money for medicine for our little ward! Together, we are giving Ivan a chance at life and a future.
Let's continue to help together!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
