Sofiika is a very cheerful and bright little girl, blessed with incredible beauty. She loves music, listening to poems and songs, swinging on the swings, and swimming in the pool. She dreams of chatting happily with her friends, running and jumping, and enjoying all the joys of childhood!!!

Sofiyka’s family is in a difficult financial situation: only her father works, whilst her mother looks after the child full-time. The family is unable to fund further treatment on their own.
Sofiyka is a child with a severe neurological diagnosis (psychomotor developmental delay, coordination and speech impairments), born prematurely at 32 weeks.

Thanks to the support of the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation and donations from caring people, the little girl was able to undergo another course of rehabilitation at the International Centre for Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology.

Following the course, positive progress has been observed: her coordination has improved, Sofiika has become more confident in her movements, new sounds and syllables have emerged, and she understands spoken language better.

We are infinitely grateful to the caring shoppers at Velmart, Velyka Kyshenya and Express supermarkets, as the funds raised have enabled the rehabilitation course to be successfully completed – a vital step in the child’s future development!
